Born and raised in Sioux City, IA, Colton’s journey into hospitality was fueled by his desire for the finer things in life and the realization that hard work was the ticket to get there. He kicked off his career in 2018 as a part-time overnight agent at the Sioux City Hotel, then took his talents to South Carolina as a Front Desk agent at the Hilton Garden Inn before coming back to Sioux City for a night audit role. His knack for keeping things organized and his drive to excel quickly earned him a promotion to Assistant General Manager/DOS at an IHG select-service hotel. Now, as a Property Support Manager with Slate Hospitality Group, Colton’s mission is simple: to make every hotel he works with more efficient, guest-friendly, and fun for the team. With a disciplined mindset and a passion for hospitality and traveling, Colton is all about creating memorable experiences—while keeping everything organized behind the scenes!
