Macey began her hospitality career in 2015 with a summer job in Alaska, sparking her passion for the industry. In 2016, she participated in the prestigious Disney College Program, which further inspired her journey in hospitality. Following this experience, she joined Omni Hotels & Resorts, gaining valuable experience at the front desk. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, Macey returned to the Walt Disney World Resort. During her tenure with Disney, she excelled in various roles across multiple resort and park locations, primarily focusing on the front office operations. Continuing her professional growth, she transitioned to prominent roles with Hyatt and IHG, further expanding her expertise in the hospitality sector. Macey joined the Slate Hospitality Group team in late 2024, and is looking forward to relying on her years of experience working with the hotels that SHG manages across the United States.
