Property Support Manager
Tamalia W.
Tamalia, who also goes by Tammy, was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She has over 10 years of diverse management experience, from owning her own business for 10 years to working for several large corporations such Exxon Mobile, where she held the title of Warehouse Coordinator, CarMax where she was the Reconditioning/Inventory Supervisor, and FedEx as Route Manager. Tammy began her journey with the hospitality industry when she agreed to help a friend, who was a General Manager of a hotel that was short on staffing. That is where her love for hospitality began. Tammy assisted in all departments at the hotel, which continued growing her interest in hospitality and feeding her love for the industry. Tammy has worked for several hotel brands over the years, including the Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn Suites and the Crowne Plaza Executive Center. Tammy started as an Executive Director of Housekeeping, then moved to the front desk as Front Desk/Front Office Manager, then was promoted to Assistant General Manager. With her tenacity, Tammy then became the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Baton Rouge Airport.
Tammy prides herself at working effectively and efficiently within all departments. She has a firm commitment to guest satisfaction and strives to exceed the expectations of what is required of her. In her down time, she loves to crochet and watch sports, especially Sunday night football.
